Tour Northern Italy in a small group
with a personal guide and Italian teacher
I am very excited about the trips that I am offering to the Italian Alps for a small group of 7 – 12 people.  It is a part of Italy that I know intimately.  My parents were born there.  All my cousins and aunts and uncles live there.  It is one of the most beautiful parts of the world.  Each time I return, the peace and beauty of the valley before me express what Shangri-La might be.

These excursions are designed to provide you with an in-depth experience.  To do that is to meet the people, such as my cousin Ileana, whose husband owns a cheese shop. Or Silvana, a young local artist who works at the village grocery store and whose work has been exhibited in Florence and Venice.  Carlo, our driver, is a wonderful vegetable gardener and cook, who has offered to host us in his home for a barbecue al fresco, and Michael of Il Dologno will teach us how to make a typical Tyrolean meal.
